Do's & Don'ts of Effective E-mail

Do use short paragraphs.
Do use lots of white space.
Do use wide margins (shorter line length).
Do leave lots of space around hyperlinks.
Show your emotions via emoticons, acronyms, and parenthetical statements.
Don't type in all capitals (except for surnames on most lists) -- it is poor netiquette.
Don't write when you are in a bad mood.
Don't assume your message is clearly written.
Don't assume your speeling is correct. <g> Always spell check.
Don't stray from the listed topic.
Don't participate in flame wars.
Don't respond to SPAM (junk mail).
